I do know some audiobooks have two or three files before the chapter 1 file. I want to have the track numbers be the same chapter number or is this not the way to go. How would I organise an audiobook? This is what I have done below which is have the introduction file as track 0, chapter 1 as track 1, chapter 2 as track, 2, etc etc and have the ending as the last track + 1. I can do this for audiobook MP3 files but unlike songs in an album were they are listed from 1-10 or whatever, audiobooks have a introduction tracks, about the author track and an ending track. But when I buy and download audiobooks online, unlike music the tags and file names are messy and therefore I rename the files and use software such as EasyTag to edit or add the title, track number, artist, album and genre. cover art while curating the ID3 tags of my mp3 files (using mp3tag editor on my PC). Features of EasyTAG Very Easy and Straight forward Interface for End user Interaction. It is a simple application which usages tag manipulation library of MAD project for the support of ID3 tag. Since you are in Mac land you should probably get kid3, a free tag editor. The only option left is to delete the song from Black Player. EasyTAG is a free and open source application software released under GNU General Public License for viewing and editing Graphics and ID3 tag. THIS WILL SOLVE ALL PROBLEMS WITH EDITING THE FILES INFO. It also features an Identify function that help you identify the unknown songs intelligently. I recommend Importing all ur music files to ITUNES and seletcting all the songs at once and then right clicking and convert their ID3 tags to v2.3. You can modify the ID3 tag info of your local music files by uploading them to Streaming Audio Recorder, or you can add ID3 tag for your recorded/downloaded music tracks with it. if u go to the song, right click it, theres an option to convert ID3 tags. So take them off the Sansa and fix them on the computer. All you have to do is Use/Install ITUNES. You could fix them one by one with Get Info. I am using the Voice app for listening to audiobooks. ID3 tags are the electronic labels in the file that name Album, Artist, Track and, most importantly for you, Genre (Audiobooks).
